A thank-you note revealed the positive social event. Qiu Linbin, a firefighter of post-85s generation became the "hero" in people's mind.

　　A few days ago, Ningbo Public Security Fire Prevention Crew received a thank-you note from Ms. Xie from Lishui which said, "Please help me find the savior, because without him, I don't know whether I am able to write to you now." Ms. Xie came across a traffic accident when she was driving and was trapped in the car. When smoke came out of the car, a young man tore the car door to rescue Xie regardless of danger. After Ms. Xie was rescued, he left the scene quietly... Ms. Xie only knew that the young man is a member of Ningbo Public Security Fire Prevention Crew, but did not know his name. She hoped she could find the "savior".

　　Ningbo Public Security Fire Prevention Crew finally found the young man-- Qiu Linbin of Hangzhou Bay Bridge Squadron. Qiu Linbin said that it was only a normal "response" without wearing uniform. The letter from Ms. Xie revealed the heroic deeds of Qiu Linbin.

　　It was happened more than half a month ago, Qiu Linbin was on holiday in his hometown of Longquan, Lishui. Around 5 PM on March 6, Qiu Linbin drove through Xinling Tunnel. When he drove to the entry of the tunnel, there was a traffic accident. The big truck in front of Qiu Linbin lost its control in braking due to improper overtaking, cracking into a white Golf-brand car with loud noise. Qiu Linbin immediately parked his car by the side of the road and got off to see the scene. The head of the car was almost damaged due to the fierce impact, the windscreen cracked and airbags popped up. Oil leaked out and heavy smokes rose from the head of the car. The car was likely to blast at any time.

　　People knew nothing to do with the accident expect Qiu Linbin, who was well-trained. He rushed up and knocked at the car door, but Mrs. Xie, the injured woman driver was too nervous to speak. As the door was smashed out of shape and could not be opened in a normal way, Qiu Linbin, though without wearing uniform and equipped with tools, tore the car door open with his hands. He tried to break off the door with his hands, and when there is a gap, he kicked the door from inside with his foot. After opening the door, Qiu Linbin found that Ms. Xie was stuck due the backward steering wheel back from impact. Qiu Linbin processed the scattered plastic pieces in the car and moved the seat backward and finally rescued the injured woman. Then Qiu Linbin comforted the mood of Ms. Xie and called her family members, insurance company, 119 and 110.

　　It was getting late. Qiu Linbin worried that Ms. Xie was unable to deal with the accident and was unstable in mood, he stayed with Ms. Xie to wait for rescue. In order to prevent Ms. Xie from getting in a coma after the car accident and appease her mood, Qiu Linbin has been continuously comforting Ms. Xie until her family and traffic police arrived at the scene. Ms. Xie's family was grateful for Qiu Linbin and asked his name, but Qiu Linbin only said he was a firefighter of Ningbo Fire Prevention Crew. Seeing the accident had been settled, he left the scene quietly. Qiu Linbin didn't mentioned this matter with other people, "I think it's quite common." he said with a smile.
