Recently, the Torch High-tech Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China officially announced the "National Science and Technology Enterprise Incubator Evaluation Results 2022". The Fudan Hangzhou Bay Science and Technology Innovation Park was awarded the highest (Class A) rating in the national science and technology enterprise incubator evaluation for its outstanding achievements.

The national level science and technology enterprise incubator is established by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China to guide the healthy development of technology enterprise incubators in China, improve their management level and entrepreneurial incubation ability, further create a good environment for promoting the growth of technology-based entrepreneurial enterprises in China, and cultivate leading talents in technology entrepreneurship. In 2020, the Fudan Hangzhou Bay Science and Technology Innovation Park actively participated in the evaluation and became the only national level technology enterprise incubator selected by the Ningbo City that year, and also the first national level technology enterprise incubator in the Qianwan New Area, Ningbo. In order to fully leverage the leading and demonstrative role of high-quality technology enterprise incubators, promote the standardized, systematic, and professional construction of entrepreneurial incubation carriers, the Torch Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China conducted an evaluation of national level technology enterprise incubators for the year 2022. In the end, 290 national level technology enterprise incubators were rated as excellent (Class A), including the Fudan Hangzhou Bay Science and Technology Innovation Park and other 4 from the Ningbo City, which received the highest excellent (Class A) rating.

The Fudan Hangzhou Bay Science and Technology Innovation Park is an important component of the innovation ecosystem of the Fudan University Ningbo Research Institute, committed to creating an industrial incubation and acceleration platform with a complete innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. Since its opening in June 2017, the Science and Technology Innovation Park has been focusing on three major fields, namely life and health, semiconductors, and new energy and materials. It has introduced more than 100 high-level talents, 9 national key talents, and over 150 excellent innovation and entrepreneurship projects. The total investment in innovation and entrepreneurship has reached 1.5 billion yuan, with an occupancy rate of over 90%. It has passed the national ISO9001 standardized management system certification and has become an important force in promoting the integration, driving, and innovation of the integrated innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in the Yangtze River Delta region.
