    Zeekr's 5G Smart Factory conducts collaborative training of humanoid robots

  • Recently, dozens of UBTECH humanoid robots applied "Swarm Intelligence" technology and made a stunning debut at the Zeekr's 5G smart factory in the Qianwan New Area, conducting multi-task collaborative training in an industrial setting.

    These robots seamlessly coordinate in key production areas, including the final assembly workshop, SPS instrument zone, quality inspection section, and door assembly area, having successfully achieved multi-task collaborative operations such as collaborative handling of large load and large size containers, collaborative sorting of materials, precise assembly, and precise quality inspection and so on. For example, in the collaborative sorting process, industrial humanoid robots innovatively apply cross-domain pure visual perception technology and intelligent hybrid decision-making technology to achieve continuous perception and tracking of dynamic targets across domains, and collaborate in groups to perform sorting tasks for multiple objects. In the collaborative handling scenario, a joint planning and control system was constructed using multi-machine collaborative control technology to achieve multi-machine collaboration for trajectory planning, load identification, and compliant control, significantly improving the stability of handling large-sized and heavily loaded workpieces. In precision assembly scenario, facing small-sized and easily deformable soft film objects, robots use high-precision perception and adaptive control technology to dynamically adjust grasping force and posture, ensuring that the film objects are not damaged or offset during assembly, highlighting the flexibility and reliability of humanoid robots with tactile five finger dexterous hands in complex industrial scenarios.

    "These 10 humanoid robots participated in collaborative training at multiple workstations, scenarios, and tasks in the Zeekr's 5G smart factory, demonstrating the advanced evolutionary capabilities of group intelligence empowered by AI. AI has become an innovation engine to promote enterprise development. Zeekr has proactively deployed AI to achieve full scenario and full chain AI empowerment, covering business areas such as research and development, production, sales, supply chain, quality management, and operational support, etc.," said Zhao Chunlin, Vice President of the Zeekr Technology Group.     As a national 5G factory and one of the first batch of "future factories" in the Zhejiang Province, the Zeekr Smart Factory in the Qianwan New Area of Ningbo has broken through the manufacturing boundary.
