Put on a VR headset, and you’ll enter a magical forest, riding an elf’s flying carpet to a vibrant and romantic island… This enchanting fairy-tale world is now within reach in Qianwan.
Recently, the wholly Hungarian-owned project, Orca Beat VR Park, opened at the Ningbo Boonie Bears Bay in the Qianwan New Area. Developed jointly by Hungary’s renowned immersive VR theme park VR Park and Hungarian Peter Pan Company, it is VR Park’s first store in China, marking a new milestone in Sino-Hungarian collaboration in technology and culture.
Spanning nearly 600 square meters, the Orca Beat VR Park offers an immersive and family-friendly VR experience that blends education with entertainment. Earlier, with support from the Ningbo Association for Science and Technology, VR Park partnered with the Ningbo Science Exploration Center to launch a virtual reality theme park, winning over many local families.
“This is our first stop in China. We aim to build a ‘fairy-tale city’ here, using VR technology to deliver stunning audiovisual experiences and rekindle the pure joy in everyone’s hearts,” said Gyorgy, founder of the Orca Beat VR Park. “In the future, we will create and develop new digital entertainment products, using this location as a hub to expand into the Chinese market.”
Notably, Hungary’s Orca Beat VR Park was introduced to Ningbo under the China-CEEC cooperation framework. It will help position Ningbo as a prime destination for bilateral trade, two-way investment, and cultural exchanges between China and CEEC nations.
