To further strengthen the safety management of large-scale water amusement rides, effectively enhance emergency rescue and incident response capabilities, and ensure the safe operation of such facilities, the annual emergency rescue drill for water-based amusement rides was recently conducted at the Happy Live Park.
The drill simulated emergency scenarios at the Happy Live Park, including a malfunction of the representative Giant Bowl ride during peak hours, with rafts stuck in the slide and passengers trapped. Upon the occurrence of the incident, the park immediately activated its emergency response plan. Through steps such as calming and evacuating personnel, rescuing trapped visitors, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and treating the injured, the emergency situation was brought under control and resolved. During the drill, the emergency plan was activated promptly, field command was orderly, all participating emergency personnel remained calm and composed, information flowed smoothly, responses were swift, and measures were scientifically appropriate. The entire process proceeded efficiently and orderly in accordance with the emergency plan.
The successful execution of this drill reinforced the safety management of large amusement rides, effectively tested the feasibility of emergency plans for water-based facilities, and helped relevant organizations firmly adopt the principle of "prevention is better than cure", thereby improving incident response and emergency rescue capabilities.
